I would guess some sort of closure was originally planned for this but not completed, all to the good I think as it makes a nice and easy pocket or sleeve for  a book or notebook or love notes now, lined with silky purple-brown fabric, very clean.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e6 \/8\" x 5 5\/8\" and in very good, stable, not fragile condition. A few small scattered losses as evident.
